Health Screenings
Starke Memorial Hospital, Northwest Indiana Community Action Corporation and Community Services of Starke County are sponsoring the Annual Conference on Aging for senior citizens and interested individuals of Starke County.
The Starke Conference on Aging will be held at the Knox Community Center, 55 E Lake Street, Knox, Indiana.
There will be no charge for the public to attend or for agencies to participate, however, there may be a small charge to customers for certain screenings. There will also be a charge for Flu shots, if available, unless the person has Medicare Part B.
The purpose of the Starke Conference on Aging is to provide Starke County senior citizens and interested individuals with the opportunity to learn about services and pertinent topics related to aging.
We invite you to participate by providing an informational display booth or some type of health screening.
In order for us to prepare publicity materials in a timely manner, we request you to complete the attached application and mail it to us at the address shown on the form by October 6th
We look forward to your participation in this year’s event. Last year, more than 200 seniors attended this conference.
