Fall Leaf pick-up for the City of Knox will begin Tuesday, October 14th. Please place all leaves in front of your residence next to the curb on the street in a long row. Do not place leaves in the alley. Do not bog the leaves-the garbage contractors will not pick up bagged leaves. Remember to keep all trash out of the leaf piles so the vacuum can pick up the leaves properly. Place any branches or leaves separate. Residents are reminded that professional tree removal companies are to take the brush left from the job. The City will not take it.
The ninth annual Eagle Creek and Ober Schools Reunion is set for Sunday afternoon, October 12th at the Washington Township Community Center, State Road 23 at Division Road, 1/2 mile north of State Road 8. For additional information call Joe Welter at 772-4742 or Mike Burial at 772-2983.
It’s time to get your flu shot. Every year more than 200-thousand people are treated at hospitals from flue complications. Doctors say people at the highest risk are children under the age of 19, adults over 50, and pregnant women after their first trimester.
