September 23, 2008 Tuesday * Newsbriefs are courtesy of WKVI Radio and www.wkvi.com * The Wanatah Scarecrow Festival will be held this weekend, September 26, 27, and 28th. We will give you some of the events at the end of the week. Down at Winamac, the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a countrywide Scarecrow contest October 4th through the 19th. Participants will be assigned a numbered light pole if you wish you display in downtown areas of Winamac, Monterey, or Francesville. A North Judson juvenile has been apprehended for theft at the Family Express. A and S Logging reported a theft of a water pump, tools, paint and log chains.
