North Judson at John Glenn...the Falcons win 28-14.
The game in Walkerton ended up with a Glenn victory on Friday. Both teams looked improved from last year, with the Falcons showing a bit more in this season opener.
The Bluejay defense gave up yards in a hurry during the first half. With more seasoning Kevin Cox should be able to coach the D into a more effective unit. JG's Walbert and Thornton each rushed for over 100 yards, while the passing attack was less effective. Terry Howard scored twice for the Bluejays keeping the game close, but there never was the feeling that North Judson was going to take over the game and win it. The yardage Howard and Frasure rushed seemingly came without the advantage of the O Line making holes for them, so again some seasoning and practice should improve by the next game against the arch-rival Knox.
