WKVI experienced a couple of electrical flickers yesterday, causing interruptions in electric service for about 10-15 seconds at a time here in the studio. Several other NIPSCO customers experienced the same phenomenon yesterday. According to NIPSCO officials, the cause of the flicker is quite a strange one. A person running a lawnmower at 200 East and 200 South in Knox hit a guy wire leading to a 69, 000 kilawatt line connected to a substation, creating a brief interruption in service to some customers.
